ALL seven churches in Clayton-le-Moors and Altham took part in a Palm Sunday procession.
Emma Hindle, who attends Barnes Square Methodist Church, Clayton-le-Moors, rode a donkey during the procession (see picture), which was attended by around 120 people. It ended at a piece of spare land off Whalley Road, where a cross was erected and a short service held.
The Rev Kenneth Walton, of Barnes Square Methodist Church, said: "Myself and other ministers in the town led the short service which included prayers, hymns and readings from the Bible."
