RISHTON'S wicketkeeper could well be suffering from a touch of vertigo, if you believe what you read.
If you look in the professional pen pictures included in the newly-published Lancashire League handbook for the 2000 season.
One or two rather unfortunate errors have crept through, leaving Rishton's new pro Jason "Dizzy" Gillespie as representing South Australia and England!
And Gillespie's brief biog states: "His best Test figures are 7-37 at Leeds 1997 v England where wicketkeeper Ian Healey said 'I never stood back further to a fast bowler (over 30 yards), even then I was taken dizzy at shoulder height.'"
Did he fall over, I wonder?
