A TRAVELLING exhibition highlighting projects aimed at getting young people in Pendle into work will tour the borough over the summer.
Pendle Partnership, the regeneration consortium of private, public and voluntary groups, wants to spread the message about the way money from its successful Pendle Youth Focus SRB cash bid is helping local people.
The mobile exhibition will carry details on schemes tackling unemployment and low attainment among 16 to 24 year olds, including a young builders project, a scheme to give basic training through environmental work, and work to improve IT skills in the ethnic minority community.
"Through exhibitions and general awareness campaigns we hope to increase the number of people and businesses benefiting from Pendle Partnership funded projects," explained the partnership's public relations officer Michael Hunt.
The exhibition will be in the display area at Colne market hall at the end of May and early June.
