WOMEN bowlers were devastated by an arson attack on their hut just two days before the start of the season.
The hut at Roe Lee Park, Blackburn, was gutted by fire, destroying fixtures and fittings and all the ladies' jacks.
Hasty arrangements were made for the team to play its first match, with women sharing the men's hut.
