MUSIC and film fans looking for something new should visit the BT Get Out There website.
The site provides an outlet for unsigned bands and amateur film-makers to put their work on display.
Net users can vote for their favourites, and push them up the Get Out There charts. The acts which reach the top can win prizes.
You'll need a load of plug-ins to get the best out of the site but if you are prepared to spend the time setting it up you might just discover something interesting.
East Lancashire songwriting team John Chambers and Pamela Neary have already had a huge online hit thanks to the site.
Their song, You Stole My Heart, reached number two after being voted for by visitors to the site.
The duo are hoping their presence on the web will help attract the interest of record companies.
And they are using another website, PeopleSound, to sell their album, called The Songwriters' Workshop Collection.
Pamela, of Higher Perry Street, Darwen, and John, of St Margaret's Way, Blackburn, are currently working on a new single, called I Don't Believe in Fairy Tales.
