IAN Wright escaped a fine from the Scottish FA following his comments in The Sun regarding his sending off for Celtic against Kilmarnock in January.
The SFA's general purposes committee met on Tuesday to decide whether or not Wright had breached their regulations in the newspaper article concerning the after-match incident which recently landed him a two-match ban.
But SFA spokesman, Andy Mitchell, today confirmed the Burnley star had escaped further punishment and got away with a 'slap on the wrists'.
