Lancashire Lynx face a busy Easter weekend with games tomorrow and Easter Monday.
First they travel to the Don Valley Stadium to take on fellow strugglers Sheffield Eagles, kick off 7.30pm, and on Monday Widnes are the visitors to Victory Park with a 5pm kick off.
Last weekend saw a very young Lynx outfit suffer a 15 try hammering at Doncaster.
Coach Steve Hampson's preparations were severely hampered with the late withdrawal of Neil Alexander and Jayson Pekepo and along with Mike Prescott being unavailable and Dave Smith leaving the club due to work commitments, Lynx's thin squad was stretched to the limits. However, Alexander & Pekepo are both fit to return along with Kevin O'Loughlin who has missed the last three games with a knee injury. Mike Prescott also returns to the squad. The Widnes game will see the home debuts of loan signing Craig Barker from Oldham and Great Britain student international Alan Robinson who has been playing in France, on the downside is the loss of recent signing Gavin Gordon with knee ligament damage.
Sheffield, like Lynx have struggled this season registering only three wins so far. However, two weeks ago they ended a long losing run with a surprise victory at Leigh.
Widnes were most people's tip for the championship honours this season, but a series of poor results have left them halfway in the league and their coach Colin Whitfield sacked.
Lynx will select from: Roberts, Butler, O'Loughlin, Garcia, Gary Doherty, Alexander, Barker, Prescott, Roden, Norton, Vincent, Pekepo, John Paul Doherty, Ramsdale, Potter, Lewis, Robinson, Boyland, Christie.
