THE sky's the limit for a Preston dancer after being spotted by a talent scout while grooving at the Bistro French restaurant.
Now talented Adam Boasman, 23, will see his name in lights when he appears on the Nottingham National Circuit later this year.
His first booking is at the National Water Sports Centre, in Nottingham, where he will appear live in front of 3,000 people for a special show in celebration of July 4, American Independence Day.
Regulars to the tribute band nightspot, in Avenham Street, Preston, will recall that Adam heads The Misty Manhattan Experience '70s dance troupe.
With a group of swinging girls he grooves to popular oldies such as the Village People's YMCA, the Beeg Gees Tragedy and the Nolans' hit I'm In the Mood for Dancing.
And the group always gain huge applause for their raunchy stage act to the Rose Royce song Car Wash, where revellers are invited on stage to join in the fun in return for a big prize.
But despite his huge success, the self-taught dancer says he will never forget his roots and plans to keep plenty of nights free for fans in Preston. He said: "I'm ecstatic. In my wildest dreams I would never have guessed this would happen. But I'm going to be performing at Bistro French once a month and will never forget my fans here."
