BLACKPOOL'S workforce can look forward to a tonic later this month with 60 new jobs being created by a vitamin supplements firm.
Natural Options will create the jobs when they move their UK operations head office and factory to new premises on Kincraig Road in Bispham.
The firm, which supplies supermarket chains and drugstores such as Aldi and Bodycare, is making the move from Fleetwood to Bispham to try to cope with the increased demands.
Graham Butler, 39, is the managing director and he told how they began trading in 1991 with a workforce of only two.
"The new facilities and product development have helped to expand our customer base and are the key essentials for our future success."
He went on to say the council's economic development team had been instrumental in finding the firm a new home to help them build on their success.
Blackpool's head of economic development John Donnellon said he was delighted that a rapidly expanding business was moving to the town.
"It is wonderful news that a large booming company is moving to the resort and will be looking to invest and recruit in our workforce," he said.
He added: "Blackpool is developing a proven track record for attracting a new and expanding industry to the area because of our competitive incentives.
"The achievements of our burgeoning business community are helping the town's economy to grow which benefits workers and firms right across the resort."
