CAPTAIN Steve Davis led the rallying call as Burnley look to tame the Lions at Turf Moor tomorrow and keep their promotion dream alive.
Tuesday's 3-0 home defeat to Gillingham cost the Clarets the chance to go second in the table.
But a win over third-placed Millwall coupled with slip-ups for Wigan, at home to Reading, and Bristol Rovers, at home to Bristol City, would see Burnley back in the promotion places tomorrow night.
And Davis insists that Burnley could still make it straight up to Division One with maximum points from their remaining games.
"I think so. I think if we can get four wins we will give ourselves a realistic chance of going up automatically. Obviously now it depends on what other teams do, but we all we can do is try and do our bit," he said.
The Clarets will be desperate to bounce back from their mid-week defeat, which also looks likely to cost them the services of Lennie Johnrose after he was concussed in a second-half clash.
And two games in three days over the Easter weekend, including Monday's trip to Brentford, gives them the chance to re-assert themselves in the promotion race.
"We've said forget about Tuesday," Davis added.
"There's no point in dwelling on it, except maybe to make sure we don't repeat the same mistakes.
"But we will dust ourselves down and get on with it. We've got enough character in the team to bounce back. We've just got to battle away and pick up as many points as we can." And boss Stan Ternent has called on the supporters and his players to keep believing and again show the ability to bounce back from a potentially damaging defeat.
"Obviously the players were frustrated the same as the fans were. But they still haven't got to lose sight of the fact we are on the up and we are in the top half-dozen in the league," said Ternent.
"It's a big game but we can go back as far as March 4 when we played Preston at home and everyone was saying that was a crucial match.
"Then we lost at home to Luton and everybody wrote us off completely. But our form since then has been outstanding and after this set-back we have got to pick ourselves up again.
"This is not a time for faint hearts. And I would just ask the supporters to put the disappointment of Tuesday night behind them and get behind the lads."
With Johnrose expected to miss the promotion showdown on the advice of medical staff, boss Stan Ternent will be forced into one change and could contemplate others. John Mullin may come in for Johnrose, although Gordon Armstrong is also an option in a ball-winning role on the left-hand side of midfield.
And Andy Cooke, who scored in a 1-1 draw at Millwall last October, could be pushing for a re-call up front.
Millwall are likely to stick with the side that won 3-1 at Brentford a week ago, their third win in four games, which means former Clarets loan striker Paul Shaw is set to be on the bench again as the 32-goal strikeforce of Neil Harris and Paul Moody continues up front.
Burnley from: Crichton, West, Smith, Cox, Davis, Thomas, Cook, Mellon, Payton, Branch, Mullin, Wright, Lee, Jepson, Weller, Cooke, Armstrong, Brass, Cowan, Harrison.
Millwall from: Warner, Lawrence, Dolan, Fitzgerald, Bull, Ifill, Cahill, Livermore, Gilkes, Harris, Moody, Tuttle, Nethercott, Shaw, Neill, Odunsi, Kinet, Spink.
The Clarets youth team end their season tomorrow morning with a derby clash at Preston North End.
