THINGS are hotting up in sizzling style for the Wave Weekender as tickets go on sale at Blackpool Grand Theatre box office.
At just £4 per person per day, lucky ticket buyers can enjoy a fantastic bank holiday bonanza on May 27 and 28 with The Wave 96.5, top chart acts, fabulous funfair rides and the chance to help the Macmillan Windmill Appeal.
And all supported by your community minded Citizen.
And if that's not enough to whet your appetite, then pin back your ears as The Citizen announces the three top tribute bands set to wow audiences at Lawsons Showground on May 28.
Lined up to grace the Sunday stage are Utter Madness, Abbamax and a Beatles tribute band. There'll be something to suit everyone with musical mayhem and superb songs such as One Step Beyond, Baggy Trousers and House of Fun from the Madness tribute band, who have performed 400 concerts across the world and achieved cult status with students.
Meticulous choreography and jaw-dropping costumes, not to mention all the favourite disco hits, from dancing queens Abba with Abbamax, and of course the unforgettable music and lyrics from the most famous four Liverpudlians in the world.
Would you want to miss it?
There will also be announcements about some HUGE chart stars in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes on the Citizen, your ears glued to The Wave and snap up your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
