FORMER Accrington Stanley strike duo Billy O'Callaghan and Paul Heavey helped shoot down Harwood as Denis Underwood's struggling Reds completed their league programme on a desperate note.
O'Callaghan scored twice and Heavey netted once as a rampant Cables side put the sorry Showgrounders to the sword.
And Underwood admitted afterwards that he needs to bring in some fresh faces over the summer if Harwood want to improve on a bottom half finish next season.
"Like I said a few weeks ago, I'm just glad this season is over with now," said Underwood. "People can go away for the summer, keep themselves fit and weigh up where we are going.
"But, as I told the players after the game, I'll be bringing some new faces in."
Harwood were well on their way to a sixth successive defeat once Kevin Garforth opened the scoring with a screamer and Chris Stanton added a second with a devastatingly accurate free kick.
But Paul Brown pulled one back for the visitors on 19 minutes with a thumping volley after a slick counter involving Clive Dunn and Graham Lightbown.
Heavey slotted home Cables' third midway through the half, despite Harwood's appeals for offside.
And O'Callaghan added further goals on 60 and 69 before a Steve Pickup own goal.
Lightbown bagged a late consolation but, by then, Harwood were well and truly beaten.
