ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman today praised his side's fighting spirit.
The Reds staged a dramatic late fight back in their promotion showdown with Radcliffe.
Stanley were trailing 2-0 with just 18 minutes left before they hit back to score three times in a frantic finale to clinch a crucial victory which moves them up to third place in the UniBond First Division table.
And now the Reds' destiny lies in their own hands as two victories in their final two home games should see them promoted as champions. "You can never write us off," said an ecstatic Coleman.
"We are always capable of getting a goal because we are good going forward. And we've also got a lot of spirit in the team -- a lot of passion. We are only beaten when the final whistle goes.
"But there's still a long way to go and a lot of hard work left to do.
"It's in our own hands, though, now and if we win our last two matches then there will not be a problem."
Two bad defensive errors gifted Borough a 2-0 lead. But the Reds struck back thanks to goals from Jonathan Smith and substitutes Jimmy Bell and Steve Carragher, much to the delight of Stanley's travelling army of supporters.
