CARL Fogarty is still waiting for an apology from Austrian rider Robert Ulm following Sunday's horror smash in Australia.
Ducati have analysed videotape of the 140mph fall which has indicated that the Gerin rider was pre-occupied trying to solve a problem with his bike as Fogarty tried to pass on the outside.
A Ducati spokesman said: "His bike just cut out and he seemed to be messing around with it.
"He was almost playing with it. So Carl knows in his own mind that it wasn't his fault and there was nothing he could do about it."
Fogarty was today continuing his recovery in the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, where he yesterday had seven screws and a titanium plate inserted into the top of his arm.
He is expected to remain in Australia for another week.
Wife Michaela said: "He's complaining so he must be on the road to recovery!
"We've had a lot of faxes, from our daughters at home and riders such as Troy Corser, Colin Edwards, Jamie Whitham and the whole Ducati team have been to visit.
"He asked me if he would be all right for Donington but I think there is only a slight possibility of him riding at Hockenheim on June 4.
"He'll be back on a bike as soon as he possibly can."
