OBVIOUSLY Derek Power (Sports Letters, April 18) has not looked at the league tables this season.
Rovers are not a premier side and we Burnley fans know exactly what they are -- a mediocre, mid-table, average First Division team.
Regardless of Jack Walker's millions, Burnley and Rovers are likely to be in the same league next season.
So, Mr Powers, take off your rose-tinted spectacles and live in the real world. This season there has been only one East Lancashire side producing the goods and you are looking at the wrong end of the M65.
