AS a Scot, I sometimes find the English way of doing things a bit confusing.
I've lived in England for five years now and I still can't work out the difference between teacakes, baps and barms. They're all rolls to me.
If only I'd had the "How to do it like the English" web guide when I moved here. It offers insights on particularly English skills -- like making the perfect cup of English tea. Sadly it doesn't answer my rolls/baps/teacakes/barms problem.
