A FEW months ago there was a lot of buzz about the Hunger Site.
This was a web page which claimed sponsors would donate money to anti-hunger charities every time a net user clicked on the page.
Now an "online community for activists", Eactivism, has set up something similar, with cash this time going to the American Cancer Society.
For every click, the sponsors of Click for a Cure will donate half a cent to the charity -- which, the organisers say, will soon add up to a substantial sum.
As with the Hunger Site, it does appear somewhat too good to be true, but if it works, it only takes a second of your time to make a donation.
