IT never fails to amaze me why some motorists fail to yield to emergency vehicles.
I am a regular road user and witness, time and time again, the stupidity of these clueless drivers who don't know what to do when they see a fire engine or ambulance, with lights and sirens blaring, coming at them in their rearview mirror. Many stop suddenly in the middle of the road.
Please, fellow drivers, when you see the emergency lights of the police, fire or ambulance coming your way from any direction, pull to the left and stop. A delay of only a few seconds could mean the death of a person near and dear to someone's heart -- and that someone could be you.
