A MILLENNIUM time capsule will buried by the Mayor and Mayoress of Burnley next week and hundreds of balloons released at one of the town's residential homes.
Councillor Eddie Fisk and Mrs Pat Chadwick will attend a ceremony at Dove Court Residential and Nursing Home on Wednesday at 2pm.
The capsule, filled by staff, families and residents, will contain personal mementos from each resident of Dove Court, a Book of Remembrance listing names and dates of birth of all the residents who have stayed at the home since 1992 and the written life story of one of the current residents.
A tree will be planted alongside a plaque and 500 balloons will be released.
