MOSLEY Common farmer Margaret Percival is organising a family fun day to help stop child abuse.
She is taking part in a nationwide National Farmers' Union event on May 14 to raise funds for the NSPCC.
Now Margaret, who has been farming Leylands Farm up at The City since 1971, is looking for car booters to book stalls at the event.
She has also arranged tombola, a ferrier display by Astley's Bill Hartley, tractor and trailer rides, birds of prey, pony rides and Army vehicles among other entertainment.
The farm, a curriculum centre for Wigan, is set up for school visits, and will be open to families to see the animals.
Opening hours are 10am to 4pm and entry £1 a head or £5 for a car.
Car boot stalls at £3 each can be booked by ringing 0161-702-8868 during the day or 01942 877407 in the evening.
