COLNE'S unemployed will receive extra help in job searching with a new project aimed at helping local people find training and work.
Giz a Start held an open day to show how it will provide people in Colne and the surrounding area with help and advice on a range of issues related to employment, training and education.
Officials at the open day, held in the Colne Ambulance Hall, provided callers with lots of information and advice.
The project is backed by European money through the Community Economic Development (CED) project for Waterside and Vivary Bridge, two of Pendle's most deprived wards.
