A MASSIVE operation involving nearly 300 police was launched to evict protesters from a "tree village" in the path of a controversial motorway extension.
Climbers trained in mountain rescue techniques scaled the high trees to help dislodge the anti-M65 campaigners at Stanworth Valley woodland near to Feniscowles, Blackburn.
