PAINT giants Crown Berger were sold in a deal worth more than £200 million.
The sensational sell-off was made to Nobel Industries of Sweden -- the industrial combine founded by the Nobel prize family.
The new owner of the East Lancashire paints business, which employed 1,000 people in the town, began life manufacturing the renowned Bofors guns.
