BLACKBURN Rovers are adding their support to a project to help young poeple.
The club is taking part in the Prince's Trust mentoring project which is aimed at 16 to 18-year-olds, many of whom are young offenders.
Club secretary Tom Finn is one of the panellists on the programme's steering group and the club has helped the trust by producing literature and allowing it to use Ewood Park for a series of training days.
"Without this kind of support it would be very difficult indeed to maintain this project," said Ian Blackey, of the Prince's Trust which is based in Richmond Terrace, Blackburn.
