NETBALL players are being asked for ideas on how to take their sport forward in Blackburn and Darwen.
A forum has been set up to look at the development of netball and anyone connected with the game is invited to attend a meeting about funding and equipment.
Joyce Tattersall, sports development officer for Blackburn with Darwen Council, said: "This is a great opportunity to help players, parents, teachers, coaches and anyone else connected with netball to come along and discover what is on offer.
"We look forward to seeing some new faces to discuss ideas and ways forward in this new millennium.
"We would also like volunteers who want to assist in the Lancashire Youth Games to come along and use this meeting to find out how they can help youngsters in the borough in the forthcoming tournament."
The meeting is at 6pm tonight in the Feilden Room in Blackburn Central Library, Town Hall Street, Blackburn.
