GREAT Harwood were today awaiting the arrival of professional Ashu Dani -- or facing the prospect of finding another paid man.
Dani was due to fly into Manchester and make his first appearance at the Cliffe Park club tonight.
Harwood were still hopeful that the explosive India 'A' opening batsman, who also bowls right-arm, will fulfill his engagement.
But if he doesn't show up they may turn their attention to Lancashire's former Padiham professional Mark Harvey, who stepped into the breach and made a half-century in Harwood's win over Blackburn Northern on Saturday.
Harwood have been dogged over their appointment of a professional having first missed out on the services of Shantanu Sugwekar, who pulled out of a return to the Ribblesdale League club at the 11th hour.
