A BLACKBURN school is looking at how it can cut its energy bills as part of a major environmental project.
Students at Queens Park High School have been monitoring energy efficiency in their classrooms.
The scheme was set up with the Esso Young Energy Savers programme, which aims to encourage youngsters to be aware of the need to save energy. The exercise is part of a wider environmental audit being carried out at the school with support from Groundwork Blackburn and the Lancashire Waste Services Lancashire Environmental Fund.
Other issues being looked at include the types of transport used by pupils to get to school.
