YOUNGSTERS at Burnley General Hospital received a visit from a Molennium Mole.
The Lancashire Waste Awareness Campaign Mascot visited the Children's Outpatients department and Children's Wards to raise awareness on waste and recycling.
Winners of a waste awareness quiz, colouring competition and display were presented with prizes and all the children received a ceramic mole figure donated by McMillan Associates (Worcs) Ltd.
Educational displays were organised in the wards and the children were told a story about how Molennium's molehill is being buried under mountains of rubbish and how they can help by reducing rubbish and recycling other things.
