NORTHERN innkeepers are swapping a night behind the bar pulling pints for a night out in Blackpool.
The British Institute of Innkeeping in the North West is holding a members' seminar and night out in the country's top tourist town on May 9.
The BII has more than 16,500 members and, as an organisation, aims to promote high standards of professionalism throughout the industry.
The day will consist of morning meetings and votes, including the election of a new council, plus an afternoon of business presentations and an evening at the resort's famous Funny Girls Revue Bar.
British Institute of Innkeeping regional development manager Lisa Harlow said: "Our regional events are getting better - and this one is no exception.
"It promises to be a fantastic day and combines business-building tips with entertainment, which is what the Institute is all about."
Tickets are available from Caroline Cattell on (01276) 417825.
