VICTORIA Wines in Leach Lane, Sutton, was the target of two robbers who struck between 8 and 8.10pm on Sunday, April 23. The men jumped behind the counter and forced the terrified shop assistants to open the till. They then escaped with a large quantity of cash, stamps and cigarettes.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the robbery and anyone with information is asked to contact the St Helens CID department on 0151 777 6064 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
