A PRESCOT store has had a blooming great idea of how to raise money for their local community.
McKays clothes store in the Prescot Shopping Centre, are holding a fashion show this evening (May 4) to help boost funds for Prescot Methodist Church's Flower Festival to mark the Millennium.
Jane Kernot, store manager at McKays, said: "We are delighted to be helping the church and hope the show will be a big success."
The fashion show starts at 7.30pm and features a wide range of styles and sizes, modelled by female members of the church. Tickets cost £2 each and McKays hope to raise at least £400.
The Methodist Flower Festival will be held from September 8-10 and organiser, June Jagger said: "We really appreciate the support we are receiving from the shop.
