POLICE in Darwen found around £8,000 worth of stolen goods when they searched a house in the Birch Hall area of town -- and now they want to reunite some of the equipment with its owners.
Stolen goods including televisions, high-fi gear and musical instruments were found during the search on Friday.
Police have matched some of the items to three burglaries, including ones at a church hall and a school.
Now they want help in tracing the owners of the remaining items which they suspect may be stolen.
The items include a Panasonic portable stereo, a drinks dispenser, a Sony PlayStation with a large circular sticker on it, a Black and Decker hedge trimmer and a large slide show screen.
Anyone who thinks the goods belong to them should leave a message for PC Mark Greenhalgh of Darwen Police on 01254 353824.
A man has been charged with burglary following the find.
