A PRESTON 5-a-side team are off to London's Hackney Marshes after winning a tournament in Manchester.
The under 15 OBC Deluxe side played six matches in the first round and won five, before beating an undefeated side in the quarter finals and going on to win the final on penalties.
Team manager Kamran Sabir, pictured centre, back row, is ecstatic that his side will now travel to the home of football for the national final of the News of the World-sponsored tournament.
He said: "The regional heats were very competitive and there were some very good teams there.
"Our one defeat in the first round was a blessing in disguise as it helped remove any complacency and improved the lads' attitude and fighting spirit.
"Their will to win was unquestionable to the final whistle.
"I'm very proud of the commitment shown by them but the work is only half done.
"We have to work hard before the Hackney Marshes finals on July 15 and everyone is looking forward to going down there. We all want to return to Preston as champions."
