GOING green by looking at every part of the way it operates has helped a furniture firm achieve a top accolade.
Timack, which employs around 50 people manufacturing furniture frames in Begonia Street, Darwen, has been awarded the ISO14001 environmental standard after a rigorous testing programme.
The standard encourages firms to look at reducing their impact on the environment through steps including cutting down on energy costs and recycling materials.
