BUS services in Blackpool were severely affected today (Friday) when drivers and conductors, protesting about plans to recruit new part time staff, held a disruptive meeting.
Human resources manager at Blackpool Transport, Annie Nancollis, said nearly all 430 drivers and nearly 50 conductors were involved in the meeting, after they raised concerns about Blackpool Transport's plans to take on new employees.
Staff stopped their services at 10am and were back to work by 1pm.
