THERE is a treat for youngsters at the Theatre Royal, Corporation Street on Friday, June 2 when BBC television's 'Bodger and Badger' appear there starting at 1.30pm.
AND on Sunday, June 4 it's time to welcome the ever-popular Houghton Weavers back to the Corporation Street venue. The Lancashire lads will presenting their own show with curtain up at 7.30pm.
THE Citadel is currently playing host to an exhibition called 'Finding A View' which consists of photographs taken by disabled people as records of their lives at the dawn of the new Millennium.
MEANWHILE tonight (Thursday, June 1) at the Waterloo Street arts centre they have Cit:Com Stand-up with Johnny Vegas and special guests. This starts at 8pm.
AND on Saturday, June 3 it's blues all the way when Eric Bibb gigs there, starting at 8.30pm.
POPULAR clairvoyant Stephen Holbrook makes a welcome return to St Helens Town Hall tonight (Thursday, June 1) 7.30pm start. Tickets are available from 0113 2423531 or on the door. THE St Helens Hospital League of Friends are holding their Garden Party in the grounds of the hospital on Saturday, June 3 starting at 2pm. The event will be open by Dorothy Garner, general services manager, and among the attractions are the York street Band and a host of stalls.
THE Pilkington Choir will be in concert at St Helens Parish Church from 7.30pm on Saturday, June 3. Proceeds are in aid of The Millennium Flower Festival and tickets are priced £2.50 which includes refreshments. These are avialable from 01744 894626.
THE Rainford Gallery in Central Library, Victoria Square is playing host to an exhibition by the Rainford-based Starving Wife Art Company from Saturday, June 3 to Thursday, June 29. THE World Of Glass is currently hosting 'Glorious Glass and Fantastic Plastic', an exhibition of work created by five St Helens Scools in conjunction with the artist Gaye Cotton. This is in the Reflections Gallery until Sunday, June 4 and is open every day from 10am to 5pm.
HELEN Marie Friends are having a rummage sale at The United Reform Church, Derwent Road, off Woodlands Road, Haresfinch on Saturday, June 3 starting at 1pm. Admission is just 10p and all proceeds to go to St Helens sick children.
ST HELENS Sinfonietta will be presenting 'A Viennese Evening' on Saturday, June 10 starting at 7.30pm. THE South West Lancs Federation of Townswomens Guilds is staging an arts and crafts event at the Bluecoat Chambers, Liverpool on Thursday, June 8 from 11.30am, with a fashion parade at 1.30pm.
