FORMER pupils from King Edward VII and Queen Mary School in Lytham are to have their own Midsummer Night's Dream this month, when the school holds a summer reunion outside a top London attraction.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, on the South Bank, will be the venue for the reunion, and principal Julian Wilde said it has drawn people from all over Britain and even abroad.
"We have friends travelling specially from California, Germany, and Australia", said Julian. He enthused about the opportunity to tell them about the school's future development and reminisce about happy memories.
There will be a champagne draw with tickets for a ride on the Millennium Wheel up for grabs at the end of the reunion, and already 150 guests have confirmed they will attend.
The event is open to all former pupils, staff and friends of the school, and further details can be obtained from Julian Wilde by calling (01253) 723246.
