TNT were simply dynamite in their last two games in the St Helens Rounders League.

They exploded into action in a high-scoring game against Haresfinch.

But after the first innings they railed 8-13. Then Haresfinch blasted ahead to 21. But rounders by Michelle Hilton (3), Gill Crawford (6), Karen Savage, Julie Hilton and Sharon White ensured TNT won by a half-rounder.

Scorers for Haresfinch included Sue Winstanley, Debbie Wharton (2) and Yvonne Tinsley (5).

TNT then went on to beat Burtonwood, whose 5 all came from halves.

This was surpassed by rounders from Gill Crawford, Karen Savage and Kerry Mather-Waters.

It was a disappointing week for the Wooders, who also lost to UG in the Stanley Jones Cup.

Pilkington Crusaders are enjoying their first season, bu t were caught on the hop by Grasshoppers.

Crusaders notched up scores through Gemma Cocquelin, Angela Houghton, Alison Collier and Cassie Moran.

But Grasshoppers clinched the game 13-8 thanbks to good efforts from Kath Northover and Emma Pritchard.
