STUBBORN Brett Angell's options seem to be more limited than ever now after Brentford pulled out of the race for his signature.
As The Citizen revealed last month, Angell has turned down a one-year deal at North End in the hope that he can persuade boss David Moyes to
double it.
In the meantime, he has gone back to Stockport County, a team he readily admits he does not have a future with, to see what other options there are.
Brentford and Bristol City had been rumoured to be hunting the big man's signature, but Brentford's Ron Noades this week revealed that they were no longer tracking him because Angell does not want to move South.
Angell's eight goals helped North End clinch promotion and he was an immediate hit with the fans.
