A study of our headlines and reports is helping to prepare students in a Pendle school to tackle their own writing project.
Pupils in year 8 at Park High School, Colne, are using our Pick and Mix activity sheets, along with a delivery of our newspaper, to develop language and writing styles.
English teacher at the school, Clare Rush, is delighted with the enthusiasm created by the project. "Students in the group are really enjoying the activities and look forward to the next lesson using the resource. We've already got a lot out of the material and will definitely be going on to use other ideas on the sheet and making full use of the newspapers," she said.
At only £10 for the minimum delivery of 25 activity sheets and newspapers on any day of the week, our Pick and Mix, literacy and numeracy pack for KS2 and KS3, is on offer to any school within our circulation area.
