TALENTED youngsters at Towneley High School, in Burnley, were given the opportunity to show off their artistic abilities at an Expressive Arts Evening at the school.
The event was organised to recognise the wide range of talent in the school, with more than 80 students from all years taking part. Performances were given by the choir, soloists, percussion ensembles, as well as drama presentations and exhibitions of GCSE art, textiles and ceramics work.
Students were presented with certificates for their outstanding progress and attainment in the expressive arts during the last year.
Assistant head of Expressive Arts Doug Bugden said: "They all work exceptionally hard and it's nice seeing them able to perform in front of a large audience."
