The Mayor of Clitheroe Coun Alan Yearing presented a cheque to two fund-raising cyclists. Neighbours Michael Boult and Brian Davies, of Shays Drive, Clitheroe, rode from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise money for the Friends of Chernobyl's Children charity in Clitheroe. The Town Council agreed to donate £150 to their cause, which they hope will raise thousands of pounds to pay for groups of children to travel to the Ribble Valley for four weeks every year.
