GLAZEBURY CC went down bravely in a hectic run chase.
A target of 201-4 posted by Deane & Derby proved too much.
All the Glazebury bowlers suffered in the DD innings with Tom Milmine hammered for 72 runs and not a wicket to his name.
A defiant 42 from opener Graham Harrop helped Glazebury along, while evergreen Roger Davenport hit 34 and Peter Calvert an unbeaten 36 before they finally succumbed at 164 all out.
A depleted Glazebury 2nd held out for a draw at Deane & Derby after the home side had battled well on a difficult pitch to reach 167.
Skipper Andy Durrington hit an aggressive 55 as Glazebury went for their shots, the match ending with them at 106-8.
