TENNIS pals Samantha Welch and Jane Greenwood are a double act to keep an eye on in the future after taking tennis tournaments in Preston by storm in the past couple of weeks.
They won the National Rover Club League u13 county final doubles for Broughton Tennis Club and are in the finals of the Bowker Preston and District tournament.
Samantha, 12, has also fought her way to the final of the Preston handicap competition, having beaten senior players along the way.
Proud mum Debra said: "Samantha has been out every night for the past fortnight playing in tournaments.
"She hopes to reach Wimbledon one day and to run a tennis centre and become a professional coach. Whatever she does, it's a great hobby to have."
