STONE AGE met "all the rage" at Kirkham and Wesham gala on Saturday (June 10) as fancy dress found fur-wearing cavemen and colourful comic Ali G in the procession through the two towns.
Sunshine smiled on the biggest ever turnout for the Millennium Church Club Day with new and retiring rose queens representing all of the local churches including St Joseph's, Christ Church, Kirkham Methodist, The Willows and St Michael's.
Blackpool Brass Band and Poulton-le-Fylde Silver Band serenaded the crowd gathered by the roadside in style and 17-year-old Zara Sheppard was crowned the new Kirkham Carnival Rose Queen in a beautiful white dress.
