BACKED by £2.5million from the EU and with the prospect of three times as much extra investment, a plan to reshape and improve Blackburn's town centre comes off the council's drawing board today -- and council bosses want to know what you think.

The plan envisages a safer centre with a caf bar culture, less traffic and better public transport; one that will attract new stores and boost business.

The scheme is vital to Blackburn's future prosperity -- and so important that everyone should take up this opportunity to have their say in it.
