NO touching! But ogle by all means.
Isn't that what the guidelines adopted by Rossendale Council amount to as it gives the go-ahead to lap dancing, striptease and more topless barmaids in the Valley?
Regulation? Pah! Say what they like, this is our councillors condoning an ale 'n' filth culture in our community.
What else is it when the 'don'ts' they attach to this licensed lewdness merely restrict the hours when these titillating shows can be staged in pubs and night-clubs and ban audience participation or touching of the performers?
Has none of our councillors the courage to ban such depraved ventures altogether? What are they scared of -- being accused of having a narrow, small-town mentality?
Adopting so-called 'national' guidelines for the control of smutty peep shows designed to sell more beer to the sad cases of this world--- in this case in Rossendale -- is passing the buck.
If our councillors had a mind to their duty, they would not simply endorse such ready-made regulations, but ask whether the voters of Rossendale want sex shows in their locals. And had they done so, they would -- if they had the guts -- have vetoed them all.
