BUS drivers are to consider an all-out strike or an overtime ban in a dispute over pay.
Union leaders are to canvas the views of Stagecoach Ribble drivers on escalating action.
Another one-day strike is being planned for next week but the T and G union has not yet notified Stagecoach Ribble of the exact day.
Drivers have already held six one-day strikes but union leaders say they appear to be having little effect in furthering their pay claims.
"We are now considering other forms of action including an overtime ban or increasing the length of the strikes," warned Roy Husband of the union, which represents drivers.
Drivers claim that colleagues in other regions are on better pay than them.
Union members will be asked to consider agreeing to an increase in action at their branch meetings over the next seven days.
Stagecoach Ribble managing director Mike Chambers this week apologised to customers for the disruption.
He added: "The company has written to each of its drivers confirming that the final offer cannot be improved upon and very much hoping that many more do not take part in the planned industrial action."
