FURIOUS members of Saints' Independent Supporters Association have accused officials of a 'U-turn' over their request to man a stall at the club's Open Day this Sunday.
Said ISSA spokesman Russ Fairclough: "Marketing director Alan Rowley agreed to this on May 15, and it was intended to sell raffle tickets for Saints' benefit.
"Now they deny making the agreement despite having discussed details with us as recently as last Thursday. The ISSA regard this as a result of our opposition to location of standing areas at the new stadium."
Said Mr. Rowley: "Saints are to issue a press release in response to the charge."
