PARR Hare & Hounds amateur rugby league are looking to strengthen their squad for the forthcoming season in Division Three of the North West Counties League.
Training sessions are currently being held on Thursdays only for the time being at Parr Stocks Road from 7pm and anyone interested is welcome to go along or ring Mick Manning on 608553.
A club spokesman said: "In common with a lot of other clubs in the league, last season was a bit of a struggle for the Hounds. But we did finish quite strongly and we were unlucky not to beat North West Counties Challenge Cup finalists Spotland in a four-pointer.
"We have quite a few younger players and we could do with some 'old heads' to boost the squad, particularly forwards. However, any players, old or new, will be more than welcome to come along.
